So it’s May which means the summer is almost here and what a great month, it starts with a three day weekend. As spring becomes summer (I’m not racing ahead here) Bristol comes into its own, new life is breathed into the city, the splash of sunshine adds a bit of colour to the streets and smiles along with smaller clothing to the inhabitants.
Anyway back to the magazine. This month we’ve taken matters into our own hands, interviewing the king of interviews, putting Sir Michael Parkinson in the hot seat for a change. We’ve got a little piece on how to dress for an interview because lets face it, in the, dare we say it again, “current climate”, you need to be on top of your game job-wise. With features on hair extensions, ketamine and camping, gig and club guides, we think we’ve just about covered it.

Grand National have sat quite highly on our office iTunes with regular plays each week. When news of a new album reached us I had to search out the next gig. I can’t explain my excitement when I stumbled across a certain listings website revealing the latest was, in fact to take place at the Carling Academy in our very city. Of course we attended and managed to grab Rupert and La to learn a little more about them.
